Richard Tuttle is one of the early writers of Sword & Socery novelas and novels. His stories do have depth but this one is harder and harder to read. Too much repetition of phrases and ideas along with too many clues to figure out what comes next. The truth is that this could have been done in 4 books without hurting the story line and it would have saved a lot of boredom. Add to that the constant errors in editing and after a while it is like dragging your foot through mud. The editors did not do Tuttle a favor by their tampering (adding verbage to make more books) and they didn't do him a favor by failing to edit the books either. I don't know if this is only for Kindle offerings or all of them, but I would not recommend this series to serious readers. The cost at $5.99 a book is not warranted given the total overall package.Product details

I have read all the book in this series by Mr. Turtle. They keep me very interest in the series. I have enjoyed all 6 of the books so far. You know how they will end, but it is exciting to see how he manages to get the characters out of their jams. I would recomm this series to everyone

I read this series a long time ago on and loved them so much I don't want to delete them. I only wish I could find the series at a reasonable price so my grandson could read them.
This book had some more surprising twists and turns. I couldn't put it down! I was so good I bought the next book immediately!
